The Computer Center is well equipped with latest computers to cater the needs of not only Computer Science and but also the whole Institute with latest technologies, it is having well over 200 Computers. More than 120 No of Pentium 4 machines and rest having different brands networked together with six servers. All the machines have been configured to support and train students in both Open Platforms (Linux) and Proprietary Software's (Windows) systems. The Computer center has about 60 workstations in high end performance range with the latest software and an Additional 30 Computers have been setup in the Interactive Lab for One to One interaction. The Institute campus is networked with wi-fi connectivity to share the resources. Institute is having latest video conferencing equipments, Electronic boards.
The software environment includes Oracle, SPSS,
MS Office, Simulation packages, Visual and Object Oriented Languages
like Visual Basic & Visual C++, Java supported by Open source platform.
Access to high speed network printers, laser printing including color printing is also available in the computer lab. All classrooms are equipped with an instructional technology podium, which includes a desktop and projection system, sound systems and is fully integrated with the wireless network. Institute initiates the process for purchasing individual laptops for students by suggesting various brands and latest technology / configuration available. Individual rooms are provided with network and wireless connectivity.
