Process Quality Enhancement
» The basic placement collateral in 2007 was the brochure “Experience Elevation in 3 Steps” while for 2008 it is called “Add That Spark To Your Management” These are very comprehensive and profile the Institute, the process and the students.
» The placement collaterals receive considerable appreciation from corporates, with the receipt of the brochures having become a minor event. The quality of production and the creative approach is seen as indicative of the overall quality of the Institute.

Final placement is now almost entirely driven by alumni, whose excellent performance in working life drives corporates to either return to campus or visit for the first time.

The first international placements were opened in 2007 and the progress of foreign summer internships continues.

Process Visibility
» The Placement Committee conducts a systematic briefing system for the Final Year students where they were kept informed of the status of employer participation, likely roles and salaries. This keeps students completely informed and helps reduce anxiety levels all around due to lack of or mis/dis/information.
The Numbers
» The result of the various initiatives was that:
 
a. Total number of job opportunities received for 116 eligible students was 209.
b. Total number of organizations who participated in Campus Placement was 38. Of these, the first-time participants included UBS, Transparent Value, Cholamandalam, Bahwan Engineering Group, Jotun, Symphony, i-Deck etc
c. Overseas SIP assignments progressed.
d. Median salary rose to Rs 5.0 lakhs
e. Highest domestic salary reached Rs 8.0 lakhs.
